Trusted Status
Hi everyone.
Just a couple of reminders about what being a Trusted driver means.
As a trusted supplier, jobs may be auto allocated toyourself, so we need you to be very sure of what is expected of you, and also to let you know what would jeopardise or lose your coveted Trusted status.
Please remember when applying for jobs:
- When you apply for a job, you may be auto allocated, so please remember that you are agreeing to the pay rate for your membership.
- You need to be genuinely within a 45 minute MAXIMUM ETA to the job and if you are not leaving from home you will need to put a comment in the comments box for the staff in the Transport office to see.
Just a reminder that as soon as a driver is allocated to a job, the customer who booked it will receive an email to confirm that you are on your way – and WHEN you are expected to be there. It’s the same when you upload your GOB and POD.
Which leads us to say that these things WILL affect your trusted status:
- ENTERING A FALSE ETA – which is why, if you are not coming from home, you need to add a note to your ETA every time you either auto allocate or apply for a job.
- Your ETA should always be the amount of minutes you will take to travel to the job, regardless of when or what day the collection time is.
- NOT UPDATING YOUR GOB AND POD – for the reason above, if you are a Trusted supplier the Transport office staff should never have to chase you for this information.
Please always use the link in the job allocation email – this is a condition of being a trusted supplier.
- BEING UNAVAILABLE – this is sometimes unavoidable when you are in a bad signal area, however not uploading accurately and then being repeatedly unavailable is a very big no-no.
- DROPPING OUT OF JOBS – again, sometimes this can’t be avoided due to vehicle breakdown or illness. However, if this is something that happens frequently we would have to review whether Trusted can really mean TRUSTED.
If you have any questions please let us know.
