What vehicles do Courier Expert use?

We have immediate access to vehicles ranging from cars, small vans to extra long wheelbase transits. Please note that we are unable to supply vehicles with tail lifts and we can only provide 1 person/driver, we don't offer a 2 man delivery service. If the courier would need a trolley, straps or anything extra to assist loading the vehicle, this can be done if the job is booked 1 day or more in advance and it must also be specified in the special collection/delivery instructions at the time booking.

How do you manage to cover the entire UK?

We have our own nationwide network which includes hundreds of home based, owner drivers, who operate under the Courier Expert brand and are checked and vetted members of our own network.

Do you operate at weekends and out of normal hours?

We work 24-7 and our website will advise of availability for specific postcodes on our quote page, we can collect and deliver most times evenings or weekends. If you have an out of hours booking, a manager is always on duty evenings and weekends, so if you require an immediate collection, then please book online, where you will be able to track the progress of your delivery.

How can I pay?

We accept most major credit/debit cards including American Express and PayPal.

Can I have an account with you?

If you are likely to make 2-3 bookings per month, then we would consider opening an account. However, your first delivery must be pre-paid, as new accounts take 3 days to process. Use this form to apply.

Can you deliver my goods the same day?

Yes, we are primarily a sameday delivery company, Your goods will be delivered the same day we collect them. We provide a personal courier with a dedicated vehicle, your items stay in the same pair of hands.

What geographical areas does Courier Expert cover?

We cover most of the mainland UK, however we do not cover northern Ireland, the channel islands or anywhere that we would need to cross water in a ferry. There are also some very remote areas we cannot reach, please use the quote form to check availability.

Do Courier Expert provide a proof of delivery?

Yes, we send confirmation via e-mail when your driver is dispatched and also when the goods are collected and delivered, complete with the name, time and date.

Can you transport a pet?

Unfortunately we cannot carry live animals or living creatures of any kind.

Can you transport hazardous goods?

No, we are unable to transport any goods that would require an ADR license or ADR style handling.

Will I be able to track my courier booking?

The majority of bookings are covered by our own driver network, which allows us to provide tracking in most cases. However, when working within short timeframes, we can't always guarantee your driver will be trackable. Rest assured, you'll always be able to contact your assigned driver directly for updates on your delivery.
